چکیده

Introduction Ankle instability is a common injury in athletes, affecting the quality of life, functional limitation, as well static and dynamic balance. The aim study was to compare efficacy virtual reality Biodex balance training treatment ankle adolescent athletes. Material methods Ninety football players were enrolled this after assessment their eligibility. Their age ranged from 12 16 years. They randomly allocated three groups equal numbers. Group 1 received guideline protocol, group 2 same protocol addition Wii Sport Training, 3 training. All protocols times week for months. Outcome measures included stability indices (overall stability, anteroposterior mediolateral) measured by Balance System Cumberland Instability Tool. Measurements collected at baseline months treatment. Results Post-treatment findings revealed statistically significant decrease overall, anteroposterior, mediolateral indices, increase outcomes all (p < 0.05). On other hand, there no differences between groups. Conclusions Virtual has effect which appears be similar athletes with chronic instability.

Effects of Balance Training on Postural Control in Athletes with Chronic Ankle Instability: A Systematic Review

Objective The Objective Ankle sprains are among the most common injuries in athletes. One of the limitations of people with chronic ankle instability is the lack of postural control. Balance and coordination training are among the most common interventions for people with chronic ankle instability. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the effect of balance training on postural co...

A Randomized Controlled Trial Comparing Rehabilitation Efficacy in Chronic Ankle Instability.

CONTEXT There is minimal patient-oriented evidence regarding the effectiveness of interventions targeted to reduce symptoms associated with chronic ankle instability (CAI). In addition, clinicians aiming to prioritize care by implementing only the most effective components of a rehabilitative program have very little evidence on comparative efficacy. OBJECTIVE To assess the comparative effica...
